Remarkable Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1994 by inventor and
entrepreneur, Eric Knight. His vision was to create a company that provides
innovative products and services that enhance business and empower people -- and
those remain our guiding principles today. Nineteen years after the
company's inception, Eric continues as the visionary behind Remarkable
Technologies, Inc. He also provides his time and energies to other
endeavors that have similar lofty goals.
 For
instance, Eric was a co-founder of UP Aerospace, Inc., an entrepreneurial
company in the "NewSpace" industry. He is the co-inventor of UP
Aerospace's pending U.S. Patent for the "Payload Transportation System" --
the unique containers that fly experiments and payloads into space. Eric
held roles as the company's CEO and CMO, and was with the
company when the ashes of James Doohan, who played "Scotty" in the television
series "Star Trek," were launched into space. This was part of
the historic inaugural space launch at Spaceport America in New Mexico on April
28, 2007 -- and was televised worldwide.
(Interesting note: The "Spaceport America" brand and "SpaceportAmerica.com" domain
name were originally created and registered by Eric Knight and Remarkable
Technologies, Inc.) Although Eric moved on to other endeavors in Jan. '08, he has been quoted as saying he
has a "soft spot" for this particular enterprise he helped birth and
launch. "It's like watching a child
grow up."
