Remarkable Technologies, Inc. was founded in 1994 by inventor and
entrepreneur, Eric Knight. His vision was to create a company that provides
innovative products and services that enhance business and empower people -- and
those remain our guiding principles today. Fourteen years after the
company's inception, Eric continues as the visionary behind Remarkable
Technologies, Inc. He also provides his time and energies to other endeavors that have similar lofty
goals.
For instance, in May 2003, Eric conceived of the business and brand "UP
Aerospace", and brought it to life via the resources of Remarkable Technologies,
Inc. The company registered the "upaerospace.com" domain name,
enabled the Internet
presence, and provided the business platform for this
unique aerospace
enterprise. The
business became a free-standing entity in October 2004, and successfully conducted
the inaugural space launch from Spaceport America in New Mexico on April 28,
2007. This historic launch included the cremated remains of Star Trek's "Scotty"
James Doohan and NASA astronaut and pioneer L. Gordon Cooper, as well as 50 student experiments and a number of innovative commercial
products. (Interesting historical note: The "Spaceport America" brand and
"SpaceportAmerica.com" domain name were originally created and registered by Eric Knight and Remarkable Technologies, Inc.)
Even though Eric is involved in many entrepreneurial ventures,
he has been quoted as saying he has a "soft spot" for this particular enterprise
he founded and birthed through Remarkable Technologies, Inc. "It's like watching
a child grow up."

rocket, Eric continues as an owner / lead stockholder of
UP Aerospace, Inc., and a pioneering voice of the "new space" aerospace industry
